Biosketch
Suzan completed her MASc degree at the HFASt lab in 2019. She received her BASc degree in industrial engineering from Bogazici University, Istanbul. Her research interests include distractions and interruptions in healthcare, human attention allocation in complex systems, and applications of statistical models and machine learning techniques. She is currently working together with International Centre for Surgical Safety at St. Michael’s Hospital to understand the effects of distractions in the operating room using the OR Black Box platform.
