Biosketch
Alia joined HFASt in November 2019 as a PhD student. Her research is joint between the Civil Engineering department, under the supervision of Prof. Matthew Roorda, and the Industrial Engineering department under the supervision of Prof. Birsen Donmez with an emphasis on human factors in freight transportation and truck traffic safety. She obtained her B.Sc. degree in industrial and management Engineering from the Arab Academy for Science and Technology, Alexandria in 2017.
